Science is Wonderful Exhibition
Most of us instinctively feel that it is wrong to waste food; and yet around a third of all food produced is wasted, leading to environmental problems. To address this global waste issue scientists and innovative businesses are developing new ways to turn these unavoidable food wastes and by-products into a wide range of bio-based products.
BBI JU-funded project, Agrimax is developing and demonstrating the production of bio-based products from crop and food-processing waste. You can challenge your knowledge of bio-based products, from food additives, to agricultural and food packaging to fertilizers and biofuels – play our game; match the waste material to the correct end bio-based product.
